Choctaw High School, Class of 2008

The University of Arkansas, BA in English with an emphasis in Creative Writing, 2012

Oklahoma State University, MS in Educational Leadership, 2014  

Degrees and Certifications:

I have a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in English/Creative Writing from The University of Arkansas and a Master’s of Science Degree in Educational Leadership from Oklahoma State University. Woo Pig Sooie and Go Pokes!

Nominee for Oklahoma Top 20 Under 2- 2018-2019, 2019-2020


Current Position:

This is my third year working at Tuttle High School. I currently teach English I and  serve as the co-sponsor for National Honor Society and I coach junior high softball. 

Previous Position:

From 2012- 2018 I worked at universities in Oklahoma (Oklahoma State University), Alabama (The University of South Alabama), and Texas (Tarleton State University). I worked in the Division of Student Affairs primarily working with fraternity and sorority communities on those campuses. I also had an opportuntity to teach several freshmen First Year Experience (FYE)/ Freshmen Perspectives classes. The classes helped first year students learn to be successful on a college campus. 

Personal Information:

In my free time, I love to read, travel, and shop. I spend a lot of time with my family and friends! I have a special place in my heart for Rae Dunn coffee mugs, farmhouse decor, and college football.
