2020 - New Year. New Semester.
Hope you've had a wonderful holiday season with much needed time off!
The first semester of the 2019-2020 school year has come and gone. What a tremendous semester it was! Students in multiple extracurricular activities did well, qualifying for regionals, state, and nationals. You have each completed courses toward graduation with determination. Many of you have participated in volunteer opportunities around Tuttle and in neighboring communities.
What is your vision for 2020?
As we move into the New Year and a new semester we each have the opportunity to make it spectacular. In a time where social media brings a focus on all things negative at local, state, and national levels, how can each of us respond with positivity, respect, and integrity? When situations arise that are less than desirable, how can we address them in a way that moves us toward excellence?
Each of us will answer these questions in various ways. What we choose to bring to the table in regard to our Tiger PRIDE says more about ourselves than the situations we find ourselves.
Are you doing your best each day academically? Are you being a positive role model for those younger than you? Are you acting with integrity in all situations? Are you being kind even when others are not? Are you choosing each day to be the best that you can be? When we can honestly answer yes to each of these, then we know our vision is in focus.
The amazing part of this process is that we can refocus and realign our PRIDE any time we get off track. It isn't a one chance opportunity. As long as we are reflective and honest we can always improve and do better. What an amazing gift!
